Who are we?
 

Experagro was created in April 2002 on the basis of a research study undertaken by Dr. Michel Blanc, a former senior staff member of WOLFF Laboratories. His study was carried out on the evolution of needs in the agricultural and food businesses as regards quality management and product safety.

Nowadays, the stiffness of exigencies with regard to food quality and safety in Europe and the world require new responsibilities and constraints in the marketing and distribution channels of agricultural commodities and food products.

These new requirements with regard to the quality and safety of agricultural and food products are today a major source for commercial or regulation litigations, which can entail serious financial repercussions on to the concerned operators and the risk of media as well.

Given the complexity and the rapid development of the exigencies and regulations in the areas of food products’ quality and safety, Experagro wants to be an enterprise for expertise and support in a position to provide global solutions to all the concerned businesses.

 

Experagro can assist you in the following fields:

  • Sub-contract for laboratory analyses (internal controls).

  • Putting in place Quality Assurance procedures in accordance with various quality references (ISO 9000, 17025, 14000, 22000 –IFS-BRC…).

  • Internal audits and those at your suppliers (hygiene, HACCP, traceability, sanitary quality…).

  • Arbitration and expertise in case of litigations related to commercial and sanitary quality of one of your products.

  • Crisis management (drawing up a pitch for your defence).

  • Assistance in designing and putting in place your quality control plan (sampling and analysis).

  • Assistance in drawing up your specifications, articles and conditions.

  • Assistance in implementing required regulations in relation to product traceability.

  • Equipment for your laboratory and training of your personnel.

  • Education and sensitisation of your technical and marketing staff to the relevance of the component of product quality (intra – enterprise training).

  • Assistance in documentation and regulations.

To carry out these missions Experagro draws support from its laboratory networks in France and abroad. Currently these Networks represent a team of 150 analysts with varied expertise covering all the fields of analysis and quality control for agricultural and food products.

Experagro has also an important Team of Experts (chemist analysts, microbiologists, veterinarians, jurists, quality experts, sampling experts…) able and ready to provide solutions to any problem related to food quality and safety, at any time (24/24 hours – 7/7 days) and at any place (France and abroad).
